STE Y1 ceramic capacitor receives VDE certification for 85/85 and DC testing

A Y1 ceramic capacitor from STE met high-temperature, high-humidity and DC test requirements and received VDE certification.
The high-temperature, high-humidity test was run at 85 °C and 85% RH.
STE’s CD-series Y1 ceramic capacitors received VDE certification covering humidity robustness and DC-application provisions. The presentation took place in Shantou on 18 May 2021.

Separate the DC rating from the humidity test
The 1,500 V value is the Annex H DC rating. Annex I lists 1,000 hours at 85 °C and 85% RH. These are separate certificate provisions and do not establish a 1,500 V 85/85 test.
