Developed and made in Shantou.
The Songtian brand has been in use since 1995. Guangdong Songtian Electronic Industrial Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and took its current name in April 2026. STE develops and manufactures ceramic capacitors, film capacitors, metal oxide varistors and NTC/PTC thermistors, and is extending its range with SMD and automotive series.
STE runs joint research programs with South China University of Technology and Jiangsu University and hosts a Guangdong provincial doctoral workstation. Its R&D center is designated an engineering technology research center for RC and sensitive components by both Guangdong Province and the City of Shantou.
Typical applications: power supplies and chargers, household appliances, industrial equipment, automotive electronics and renewable energy.

STE is committed to global social responsibility, ethical sourcing and a sustainable supply chain. Sales of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold from mines controlled by armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries may finance ongoing conflict. STE takes this issue seriously and acts to address it.
As a technology company, STE respects human rights and monitors conflict-mineral risks. We are committed to investigating our supply chain to ensure that the tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W) and gold (Au) we use do not originate from mines controlled by armed groups in these regions.
Our conflict-minerals policy
- Do not purchase conflict metals produced in conflict regions.
- Require suppliers to reject conflict metals from conflict regions and provide a written commitment.
- Require suppliers to communicate these requirements to their own upstream suppliers.
STE supports industry collaboration on social responsibility throughout the supply chain. We will work with customers and suppliers to find sustainable solutions to conflict-mineral risks.
