# STE Safety Components in Chargers and Appliances Reported in July 2025

> A July 2025 Chongdiantou roundup groups reported STE component use across power adapters, appliances and portable power equipment.

Chongdiantou's July 2025 review organizes reported STE component use into the product groupings in this report, from surface-mount safety capacitors to inrush-limiting thermistors and varistors. The equipment spans phone and computer chargers, robot power supplies, charging stations, portable power products and household appliances.

The following inventory preserves every application entry in the source. It records the publisher's category assignments rather than independently verified ordering codes. C means USB-C and A means USB-A. Names without a confirmed English market equivalent use romanized source labels.

## Surface-mount Y1 safety capacitors

The report describes a lower-profile package than conventional leaded Y capacitors, flame-retardant epoxy encapsulation and tape-and-reel packaging. ## CBB21B boxed film capacitors

Its overview lists 0.01–10 µF, an operating range of −40 to +105 °C and storage at 15–35 °C. Those family-level statements do not identify every available combination. The listed application is:

## MF72 thermistors

MF72 thermistors are presented for inrush-current limiting in power-conversion, switching and UPS applications. The report lists disc diameters from 5 to 20 mm. It does not provide the exact thermistor code or operating conditions for each equipment entry:
